Bibis is an iconic Italian restaurant and cocktail bar in the heart of Leeds. Its reputation as a premium bar and restaurant has been earned over three decades, during which time they have consistently delivered a unique experience to their customers.

After working with traditional waste solutions, Bibis were searching for a more environmentally friendly way to dispose of all food waste produced by the restaurant. The solution had to be cost-effective and easy to manage. After being approached by a member of the ReFood team, Bibis were provided with a competitively priced solution to dispose of their waste. A solution that has since enabled them to reach their goal of “zero waste to landfill.”

It’s a result that the assistant general manager Daniel Ayton is very particularly proud of for the restaurant. In his words “The competitive pricing structure and the level of service provided by the ReFood team means that recycling food makes business sense.” ReFood’s solution has improved Bibis’ green credentials, and ultimately their CSR. This new method of waste disposal has also enabled them to make substantial long-term savings.
