Our cutting-edge AD (Anaerobic Digestion) plants are at the heart of the circular economy, helping communities reduce landfill and protect the planet. Now, we’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic AD Site Operative to join our team in Widnes. As an AD Site Operative, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our site running smoothly. From operating machinery to ensuring safe handling of materials, no two days will be the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team where your ideas and commitment really count. This is a full-time permanent position, working a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (average 42 hours per week). Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting management with the safe, efficient operation of the site
• Operating mobile plant and equipment safely and effectively.
• Handling incoming raw materials and supporting weighbridge processes.
• Ensuring high standards of site cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance.
• Supporting traffic management and helping with paperwork as required.
• Playing an active role in meeting environmental and production standards.

Job Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or FMCG setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence handling raw materials (some heavy lifting required).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality & safety standards (HACCP).
• Basic IT skills and willingness to complete relevant training.
• A forklift truck licence (advantageous, but not essential).
• Reliable, hardworking, and ready to grow with us.
